Chicago fun

 Laura and I traveled to Chicago for a friends wedding which happened to be a cruise out on the lake.  The wedding took place on the top of the boat and despite being on the lake, it was insanely hot.

 Though I lived in Chicago for many years, I've never seen the city from the lake before.  It was really cool watching the sun set behind the buildings.

There was an after party at Lucky Strike.  

On the way back to Michigan we decided to stop of at the Journeyman Distillery to taste some whiskey

Beating the heat on the 4th

After the Egraps Parade, I headed over to Tom and Judy's to sip some cold Oberon and toss the Frisbee with Doodles.  Instead, we sipped some Oberon, dipped in the baby pool and hit the slip and slide.  It was too hot for anything else.

4th of July!

As I head out the door to the EGR 4th of July Parade, here is a photo of George and Hamma from last years parade.  George was quite the little fella a year ago.
